I'm stripping the interior wiring loom to remove wires I don't need, just wondered what the two switches that depress when the door is closed do? Can I remove? Also, how do you remove the metal pins from the connectors?

Thanks!

probably the interior light switches at a guess but cover the holes up

i find a small spike and practise is best way for the pins

Ah ok, I've removed an asda bag full so far! Weighs around 1.5kg!

Removed the front and rear speaker wiring, central locking, door switches, heater wires, stereo wires and all the random plugs that don't do anything!
