strong petrol smell

it would be really appreciated if anyone can point me in the right direction. there is a strong petrol smell coming in through the vents when the blowers are on. Have checked the obvious like fuel lines and injector rail and everything is dry. it very strong when stopped at lights, Anyone any ideas???? Cheers for reading.

just checked the fuel filter and its dry as a bone, all pipes connected well.

I was going to say the same, things under pressure tend to reveal leaks better than when they're not running.

Yea that was with the engine running..

Are you sure its petrol????? My started to poison me and it turned out to be the main breather on the front of the block, next to the coil pack...... Took a few hours but fixed it eventually... Took a lot of finding though.
