It's thanks to me he is keeping his car as I got him back in love with it after doing all the hard work of fitting a fully working new hybrid turbo

K,myself and brad had an interesting day of fitting a full set of r32 brakes to the car yesterday...all went well, and we did not hit any hicups which was nice....
I drove the car and thought at first the brakes were a bit of a dissapointment but after a few hard braking sessions all I can say is wow, they stop so fast and the bite is so much better than the312 set up I had prior....
Also due to the goodridge lines I get very little abs feedback,in fact the abs hardly comes into play under hard braking the car literally just stops....
I'm very happy with the result and at this point in time I can't think of anything else I need to do to the car.....
But as r32 brakes go, there bl00dy amazing....

After the amd day yesterday I had my car rolled at 243.5bhp and 333.5lbft...
Not that figures actually matter but the graph is really good,hold power and torque really well which is nice...

And it was the same stage 2 150pd hybrid turbo for the 3rd time?
Also, how did you find AMD's mapping compared with your
previous experiences, and how much would they charge for
a map on a setup like yours, if you don't mind me asking?
Custom maps seem to be a bit hit or miss when reading forums,

Amd for me are very good at what they do.... And as there near to me if I've needed a tweek here or there they've always helped me out....
I had a p-torque map on stage1 turbo which was very good till turbo blew(not p-torques fault)
I can't fault amd at all

Stupid Turbo Dynamics said there was nothing wrong with the turbo on all occasions, they didn't bother setting up the VNT mechanism properly

Ok I haven't been on here for a while....just thinking out loud really as I want a new car but don't want to get rid of my baby...so I was thinking about a big turbo conversion for mine,
I need some advice from some people as to how much I'm looking at spending?rods,clutch water meth turbo custom dp custom mani etc etc.....oh and of course a lsd....
