Strut Brace

Hello peeps

Im gonna get a front strut brace for my cupra R. Someones got one from a MK1 TT and MK1 S3 on facebook are they the same. Also how difficult are they to fit I know holes have gotta be drilled not sure if I trust myself doing that lol

No drilling is required, you will need some extra parts though. here are the numbers:

· 8N0 199 403 B - Audi S3 lower strut brace
· N 908 106 01 – riv nut x2, for lower strut brace
· N 104 176 01 - bolt x2, for lower strut brace
· N 904 773 01 - washer x2, for lower strut brace

think he means the upper strut brace as lcr has the lower one same as tt s3 as standard

Drilled mine myself just takes time to line it up correctly and the bonnet strut also blocks 1 of the holes up....

I got a mk1 tt to go on mine,need a notch cut where bonnet strut is apparantly


Ah sweet alright mate cheers. Where did you get the bolts from? Are they nut and bolted or do you need to tap threads in once drilled? Im gonna get its powdercoated anyway so cutting a notch wont be a problem.
