Hello!

Hope someone is able to shed some light. Im trying to sync my key fob to the car but the CCM stores a value of the old key fob even after a reset through VCDS.

Having tried several fobs including the original I've come up blank, spending a good few hours trying.

The CCM part number it 1C0 959 799 F from a 1M Seat Toledo

Have to keep clearing fault code 00179 (Incorrect Key Programming) after I try syncing the fob.

Please help its driving me crazy had no remote locking for several years and finally got Ross Tech Cable and still have to use the door lock :(

Oh and everything else to do with the CCM works fine!

is the fob you're trying to sync 1 you've just bought? if so did you buy the correct part number? i'm not trying to be condescending but i come across a lot of people that buy a remote just because it looks the same as their original remote.

Also 2002 is a change over year for Toledo remotes 2000-02 uses a 1j0959753n & 2002-04 uses 1j0959753ct

ok, i'll be down your way in November so can call in if you want & take a look. I've got a few other bits of kit for doing keys/remotes other than VCDS.

Is the original or replacement CCM fitted?

ok, bit odd why it's not allowing adaption if the remote positions have been cleared. Had this with a couple of other VAG. Customers remotes wouldn't code, tried 2 out of my van & they coded straight in

What does measurng block three tell you?
Does the 0000 in field 4 change at all when you press buttons? how many remotes are stored?
