Stutter

Picked up my new FR tdi 130 last week. Very impressed.
Just one question. At low revs, the car suffers from a noticeable stutter/jerk
before picking up. Does not really feel like Turbo lag. Is this common?
Any advice appreciated.

Is it when your accelearting hard or just driving normally?

Still running in, so pretty much driving normally.
My wife has the 'basic' tdi Altea and this has a bit of turbo lag
but does not seem to suffer from this stutter/hesitancy.
Is this common?

I have read lots about this sort of stutter, I think it's to do with the latest emissions control

Briskoda skoda forum has a lot of chat and lots of updates about it, I think there is a fix now
