Someone else mentioned that josh through VCDS but I don't have it & there's noooooo one local to me that knows how to do it!
The Divertor Valve (DV) apparently it's also called an N249 boost pressure control valve, I just wanna clarify it is lol..

Right the revs are starting to 'hunt' now..on idle and at traffic lights etc. Only slightly, but it's there.. So.. Air leak? Fuel issue? Anymore ideas guys..it's getting worse

If you're mechanical savvy then I'd advise stripping off the manifold and cleaning your valves and testing your injectors/clean them. Ball ache of a job but it should fix your issue

Lol I am 'mechanically savvy' but don't fancy taking a job on like that tbh! need someone closer who can test the injectors ideally!!

So as well as 'kangaroo ing' down the road on light throttle it's now started 'popping' in between gear changes sounds good..but it's NEVER done it before!! I know everyone has given me ideas/said go get your hands dirty, but I honestly don't have the time/knowledge/tools to do the jobs suggested!! So.. Back to the dealer? (Have a warranty till end of jan 2015) or take it too a local garage/specialist? Why is it now popping? Fuelling? I'm tempted to disconnect the battery for a few hours and reset the map (I have an SPS to put it back on) just to see if that helps/improves things! New Rev G DV valve made NO diff

Hmmm yeah but I'm worried about the Miltek cat back, hugeee ITG/MTC intake, lime green engine cover etc etc..the dealer will probably be like 'Erm is this modified' lol. But.. I have disconnected the battery and reconnected it, taken it for a short drive and it 'seems' better?! I'll drive it his week and see what happens without the map on...

UPDATE

Paid a lad £20 for him to use his VCDS and look at mis fire sum counter..

Went for a drive trying to replicate the fault.. ALL cylinders registered mis fires (between 2-4 counts) Cylinder 4 being the worst at 4 counts. Then the counters re set, and so on..the counters re set like every 15-20 seconds, is this normal. And are ANY misfires normal??

Ideas?

That would suggest that your hpfp is fudged I think mate?
Seems unlikely that your coil wiring is faulty, hpfp is the only thing I can think of which would give you a misfiring on all cylinders

Lol yeah!! can just the fuel pump be tested through VCDS? (Had the cam follower done about 2/3month ago..mechanic did say there was a lot of crap in the pump that he cleaned out and to try and stay away from Tescos & only run Vpower!)

Is it easy to do dan? Which blocks etc? (Sorry as I say for all the q's I just wanna go to the garage with as much info as possible!) cheers!

From memory it's 230 or around that, should be within 5 bar of specified at all times aside from sudden changes to requests, I. E. Foot down or lifting off.

On the mobile so can't add too much or provide links I'm afraid. Failure is usually heavy load as opposed to light load

Plugs, coils, injectors, fuel pressure (both high pressure and the low pressure delivery which can also be checked with vcds), any one of a number of sensors misreading etc.

Need to read through the rest of the thread to see what you've tried. Misfire registering at idle or at sudden throttle changes and on overrun aren't uncommon
