Nicky

Just bought one, (yea I know but I just got married and so managed to get it around er indoors!).

Im having trouble installing it and keeping it in place, especially with re-fitting the holder below it.

Do you happen to have any special tips for the install? I am thinking that there is a lot of wiring there I have to seperate somewhere!

Also where did you route the cable for the hands free?

Cheers

One other thing I meant to ask, did anyone ever buy the ipod adapter? If so where from and how much was it?

Thanks

hey phill

the mic wire i routed behind the glove box and up the windscreen pillar on the left then between the roof lining round to the driver-side corner of the fron windscreen.

when you say you have problems keeping it in place what do you mean? the wires are fiddly but you can pull them either side of the small hole where the tray slots in, not too difficult. i didn't have to cut anything or swap the tray around.

Hi BigWill

I was really meaning the adapter, not the whole head unit. While your one is very nice, I neither need it, nor would feel comfortable having something like that in my car, unless I lived in a secure compound, which I dont!

I was just wondering for the people who bought the same head unit as me, if they have bought the ipod adapter and if so where from?

Unfortunatley I bought the steering wheel adapter that was suggested from Ray Smith but it doesnt work. I need to check again to see if they have posted the right one or if the problem lies my end.

Cheers
