Where is a good point to centrally jack my car up, both at the front and in turn the rear so that i can get it up on axle stands?

Also where is best to seat the stands where they will be able to take the weight of the car both at the front and then the rear? Nothing is really mentioned in the handbook apart from jacking the car up using the specific jack points, but that really is for changing a tyre.

Don't think you can do one side at a time can you when using stands? You have to jack up one end equally then lower it onto the stands?

do you need to jack all 4 up?

Why you're jacking it up depends on where to support it really

jack it up on the subframe mounts (where it bolts to the chassis) and support it there too on the front.

then do the rears by jacking on the rear beam & supporting on the square blocks just inside the jacking points
