Anyone had any experience of lubricating the sunroof or getting it serviced on a MK3?

Mines starting to judder a bit when opening&closing so seems like it needs to be lubricated, but I seem to recall seeing something stupid that SEAT charge £200+ for this!
Can't find that information anywhere now though

I'm also interested in this. Got the panoramic roof and it's started to sometimes bouceback when closing from tilt

I posted about this...SEAT Manchester quoted me £199 for a sunroof service as part of their advisory - see photo. Mind you they also quoted me £209 for a diff service and then denied the car even has a diff when I tried to book it in 6 months later.
The roof seems fine so I haven’t had it done, got the diff done for a more reasonable price elsewhere.

A general rule is to spray once every 6 months the plastic/rubber and mechanism of the sunroof with silicone spray. Mind you it should be done during neutral temperatures, not below 10C not over 30C.

My local VW service centre use the recommended Krytox oil VW part number G052172A1. It's about £18 for a small bottle of eBay. I've not used it myself, I just use silicone oil.
