so what are we thinking then? can i go for this 158 quid set? if this does happen at mot testing then can i go back to the company i buy them from and get a refund or whatever....coz they clearly arent up to scratch?

lets get the debit card out then!!!! lol how much to get them fitted you reckon?

I think my mate paid about £70 for his to be fitted, but the guy gave him discounts on work as he used them alot. I dont know if thats a reasonable price as i tend to do things myself

I cant see a reason why they wouldnt pass one as long as its not lowered so much you cant get on the ramp at the garage. A NCT is Ireland equivelant to our MOT
NCT is the irish verision of the mot it stands for national car test

I see the picture they've used is of RashCupras car... needless to say, the coilovers they are advertising will not go that low, unless you take the adjuster cups out. Rash had FK Silverline X's on his car, adjustable damping, stainless etc... the advertised coilies will not have any of that. Also Rash had 20mm spacers on the rear which gives it the wider look.

Also, I bet they never asked his permission to use the picture either, nor edit it...

Edit: A quick search shows the address of the so called company is a house in the middle of a housing estate, and the company email account is hotmail based... I'd be very careful, buying from there

as always this site has saved me! can anyone suggest a good set then? i cant really afford 800 quid but what is the cheapest you would go without compromising on quality?

and when it says droplinks always required, what does that mean? do the droplinks come with the set? confuzzled!

I would say AP's mate, can get them from Awesome/DPM etc, they're about £300. I wouldn't worry about the droplinks, didn't have to change mine.

so my car will already have droplinks ? i wont need to buy any? its only the 1.2 version....if that makes a diff?
