Are the front top mounts the same for the 16v as the 8v? euro car parts has like a 20 quid difference. I've just bought some coilovers...should i replace rear top mounts aswell?

Can't see any difference, the suspension is the same and you might as well change the rear top mounts once everything is off.

Dave you say the suspension is the same, but this weitec kit is definately different http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/products/product_info.mhtml?product=3878403 to the others listed on the site. The diesel/2.0 should come with stronger front springs and also stiffer dampers.

All the Mk2 Ibiza models from 1.0 to 2.0 8v/16v and diesel use the same springs this goes for Koni, Spax and Weitec 100% because I rung every one of them to ask and double check that the 40mm lowerings springs (60mm with Weitec) actually lower the GTi/Cupra/ 2.0 16v/8v the amount stated they all said no take away 15mm because the GTi/Cupra/ 2.0 16v/8v are 15mm lower in standard form compared to the 1.0, 1.4 & 1.6.

Only thing different I had Koni look at was that the shocks were a different part number on the GTi/Cupra/ 2.0 16v/8v compared to the others. They couldn't tell me how but as M1keH said there were probably stiffer.

As Sionow asked is there anything different between the 2.0 8v compared to the 16v suspension wise then it shouldn't be.
