from what i have been told cheaper kits are not good

you can get the fk kit for just over £200 so i would say stick with those, as the ones linked to have no brand just suspension kit which would personally put me off

has anyone used any of these kits? the first looks like a FK copy and is a bit cheaper, just can't afford the FK kit at the moment

i'm sure my friend has that kit on his polo and said its rather bumpy.
save ur pennies for the brand name mate ;)

I was going to buy the cheaper kits off ebay as the saving looked like a good one. However in the end i've plumbed for the real FK kit, its more expensive than the ebay ones yes ...... but you know you're getting something that fits and works properly. Plus how often do you buy shocks and springs ? Save them pennies and get the real kit if your interested in the handling of your car otherwise just buy the 60mm kit off ebay and watch as it probably slam it 90mm when all is said and done lol :)

Are the FK kits any good?
I've been looking at FK, Apex, GMAX or maybe H&R

Out of those you mention, i'd rank them best to worst as H&R, FK, GMAX, Apex. The FK kit is dead popular because of the balance of performance and price. H&R is probably a better kit (though it does drop the car rather lower than stated IIRC) but quite a bit more expensive. Life was so much simpler years ago when kit-wise you had the choice of Bilstein or Koni (and you had to really hunt to track down the Koni kit).

Excellent thanks for that!
Think I'll go with the FK High Tech cause its more within my price reach!

I had to cancel my order for these as they didnt even have n e in over in germany and that was 2 weeks ago.

 if things have changed.

Had the Bilstein Sprintline kit on my last one and it was very firm!
