I must say, you are very philosophical about the damage. Makes my blood boil how careless people are around other peoples expensive property. It costs nothing to take some care around other peoples cars. When my kids were younger whenever we parked in a tight space with cars either side the kids knew not to open the doors themselves but wait for dad / mum to carefully open the doors from the outside. When I've been sat in the car in supermarket carparks watching other peoples behaviour, the number of people who park up and throw their doors open into the adjacent car (or let their kids do it) beggars belief. Makes me cringe.

I know. I've seen it too. Letting a trolly go without a care in the world as well.

I,m glad it,s not just me who thinks this too many people could,nt give a damm the quote I get all the time is it,s just a car well how would they like if somebody came up too they front door of they house and booted it [:@]

Finally my car is complete. SEAT have forged the remaining part that was missing from the factory.

It has taken months of development to get just right. The rarest materials sought to make this a reality.

My car is now whole. As the Spanish gods intended. :seatgod:

They sent both parts of the badge then? Think I'll ring Seat customer care tomorrow as I still have not heard a thing. You have been waiting a lot longer than me though ;-)

Yes the instructions ask the dealer to remove the flag and replace it with a new one for some reason.

Seems pointless, just put the 280 on below. Dealer offered to fit but I wanted to do it myself which I'll do tomorrow.

All dealers received a memo last week explaining the badges would be with them this week. I expect your dealer has yours, just not contacted you yet. I'd call them.

Seat CC just rang me (I didn't ring them) and said badge is at supplying dealers and will be sent out to me today. When it arrives I need to ring back as they also said they would arrange fitting at local dealer. Don't much fancy fitting it myself to be honest. How would you go about that anyway? Superglue?

That's good service, fair play. I initially opened a case with them many weeks ago and they haven't forgotten me!
