Quick question regarding t-cutting my Black magic pearlescent cupra. I keep the car as clean as possible (scottish weather), i have noticed very light scratches all over the car in direct sunlight. Was going to use metallic t-cut, would the damage or remove the clear laquer? If so how else do i remove these swirls? Thanks

any cutting agent will remove some of the clear, but unless your doing it by machine, it svery unlikely that you will go through the clear coat unless its had poor work or you rub the same spot for an hour

will do guys, I might try it on a small section of the bonnet (where it was keyed ages ago) as if it ends up a disaster then no matter as the whole bonnet is getting resprayed anyway.

Anyone else have any ideas on the issue of removing light swirls on the paintwork??

Meguairs ScratchX will remove light scratches / light swirls and it is safe on paintwork.

You might want to get the car detailed - you will be suprised how many scratches can be corrected which will ultimately save you money.
