Awesome Tom. The cooler does look massive, but you would never know it was there unless you had a keen eye. The core fins look solid, where as mine are quite fragile. Looks as if they are built to last. Nice to see another cooler on the market that's competitively priced. Certainly would give those who were thinking about a Forge cooler another choice... Good times for these cars hey :)

Oh, your figures look immense by the way... Mine's a snail by comparison.

Enjoy the prep for Inters.... :D

Loving the intercooler mate, definitely a great choice you made there. Bring on summer :)

:D

You'll see it at Pageant if not before mate.

Yeah the fins are solid buddy, I had a good nosey of the cooler itself before it went on and it's immense quality! Very impressed! :) I won't be changing coolers again this is it now. Can almost see light at the end of the tuning tunnel for this car, lol. Hopefully it'll be done sooner than later now.

Thanks mate, the car made over 300 again on Friday with the TX kit and a bit less torque than in the sig, I think that's due to the temps but again it did really well and I can't moan one bit about how the TX has performed.

Inters should be good cheers!

That is huge! Looks great all black and hidden... Makes the 'suprise' 300brake even more of a surprise.

I hope my smic's die soon so I can justify a Fmic!

What's next?? This is pretty much solid now with everything bar a diff isn't it?

Yeah I love it stealthy mate. Keeps with the oem feel of the car which I've wanted to remain.

Lol you don't need an excuse mate just do it :D

Erm there's a fair few things I still want to do will list them below..

-Uprated clutch (Awesome GTI kit that El has and a few others on here)
-Front ARB (could be coming very soon...... Neuspeed)
-FULL SuperPro polybushing (full kit including steering rack bush)
-Wavetrac LSD

All performance related and they will be priority. There's loads of cosmetic bodywork bits I want doing but I do not care right now. My sole aim short term is to get the car performing to its max potential with a diff and a great clutch. My gears need re-aligning to be honest so these will get done with the new clutch at the same time. I want it at a point where I could sling it round Brands Hatch and feel confident the car will take the punishment. At the moment the clutch would die, lol.

:)

More stealth. Sadly not intentional though... Reg plate fell off last night outside my mates. I think it had come loose a few days ago and the rain we had last night took it off.

Luckily it must have been on the road by the car and someone kindly put i under my passenger wiper. So just need to get it fixed back on properly this time.

Been using double sided sticky pads but they seem crap IMO. What does everyone else use?

However, I am loving the stealth look more and more knowing there's a huge intercooler behind that grill :D

Tempting longer term mate!

I need a short term solution for now though. Maybe heavy duty velcro or something.

EDIT... I do want what you have long term, looks damn good. How does the number plate work I skim read that it will be magnetic?

I've fitted magnets to the back of the solid plastic piece of the grill, the plate will sit in its OEM position, but will be easy to whip off. I just need to give it a speed test to make sure it doesn't come off. Heavy duty velcro should do the job, or just drill a couple of holes in the plate so you can use the same holes as the OEM plate.

Cool mate, get cracking and do this speed test please :D

I was thinking of drilling it but I didn't really want to :(

Hi mate. I will more than likely end up doing that, I just didn't want to drill into the 3/4 size plate that I have, but would mean no more issues I guess.

are you degreasing the area before you stick the plate on may sound sill but it should be really difficult to pull off with double sided sticky pads.

oh and as i havent commented on this thread before love the look of your car especially with jonjays old wheels.

Cheers Al :) Jonjay's old wheels suit the car very well and were in A1 condition when I got them. They are still in excellent condition too.

I was de-greasing the number plate area, but maybe not enough. TBH maybe I should just drill the plate, couple of screws and plastic covers, sorted...

You not buying Robbies wheels mate? I think you should, just to see what it looks like :)

FFS don't make me buy them mate!! :p

I dunno how much he wants. I know it would look effin' sweet and they are genuine..
