If it helps, I'm in my eighth year of ownership now... I could have gone down the Audi route but I honestly really enjoy the car, its build quality and that it's giving me the opportunity to learn about all things cars.

James.l's/Ronin's/Graham's builds for powerwise stuff really does make me want to explore that route next year. I should imagine that it's incredible to drive our cars with that power and LSD assitance :D

Either way, good times... Glad to hear that the N75 valve has made the car better Tom. Those pics from Bromley look great :)

Glad to hear your still enjoying the car James :) Something special about these I think really, and they are not easy to replace at all IMO.

I'd love to go big turbo but it's a lot of money, so will have to see what my priorities are once I'm happy with the rest of the car. Chassis/handling work needs to be finished soon really.

The car is driving so much better mate, it's more responsive and holds boost properly now! Love it :D Bromley was a great day out mate. Be good to meet you at one of the shows one day.

Neuspeed FARB.

So I couldn't help but help myself and Dan (Murdered LCR) out and grab the Neuspeed FARB off his car that he was selling..

I have a rear Eibach one so was looking to get it done sooner or later :) Coupled with the S3 front brace and hughes engineering rear one, the car should feel a little tighter again.

Still want to do the full Superpro polybushing though! :)

Thats good the neuspeed front matches the rear Eibach so you never know difference in look and size (25mm).

Looking good, just the time getting it fitted which will be the painful bit.

Indeed, going to try and sort it out sooner than later..

Definitely mate. That's the reason I wanted the Neuspeed and once I found out Dan was selling his, it had to be done.

Got to see this S4 of yours one day soon mate. :)

Saturday.

I'm off to AmD this Saturday to get the following done:

-Neuspeed front arb fitted.
-Decat spacer fitted (to stop fault code, although it causes no issue to the running of the car it bugs me ;) )
-Passenger side engine mount looks as though it's moved so this is being re-aligned.

I don't have the facility to do the above so easier to get AmD to sort them all for me.

After it's done, I will be taking the car for a very spirited drive either Saturday night or Sunday :D

Really love driving it lately, the difference with the new FMIC and the new N75 is night and day. Pulls so hard and it's so much more responsive. I also believe the Airtec FMIC is more airtight than the TX was at all the joins. Now and then I'd get a boost leak code come up on the car with the TX and I'd tighten everything up that bit more and clear the code. Since the Airtec I've had nothing. I also forgot how big the cooler was, so should certainly be a capable car once this is done.

Track time next year is 100% on the cards. Aiming for Brands Hatch to start with and go from there.

Clutch and fully Superpro bushing is getting done once I'm back from holiday around September time. After this Saturday the spending stops completely on the car and I'll be enjoying it until those 2 bigger jobs are done.

LSD is coming when the time is right ;)

We'll let you off with those jobs ;)

Nice little list there. What ARBs have you got right now?

Lol, Eibach rear ARB on the car at the moment, with a Hughes rear brace.

Front at the moment only has the Audi S3 upper brace, so the Neuspeed needs to go on :)

Not expecting it to feel any different around town driving, but a spirited drive I'm hoping it feels a little more stable upfront.

I wish Wavetrac LSD's were cheaper, I want one when I get my clutch as it'll be easier to do then all at once, but doubt that's going to happen tbh.

No it won't feel any different in town, well that depends on how you drive but mine doesn't with the R32 and Whiteline ARBs - although I do push it round roundabouts sometimes ;) Out in the twisties you should feel a subtle but definite difference, depending on how low you're running the suspension.

Haha, only the odd roundabout fun like yourself to be honest ;) Around town I don't see the point in nailing it everywhere.

My coilovers run so the gap from the highest point of the underside of the wheel arch to the floor is 63.5cm's. TBH it's too low for the track and will need raising up a bit next year when she gets to stretch her legs round Brands' :D

Have you gone off the BT idea?

For the time being yes I have. Not sure I really want over 300bhp in a FWD car really and the costs involved could go to my savings, yes it would sure be fun, but track-wise I won't need more than this power to have plenty of fun next year.

Might aswell go 4WD when I want more power. Could be an Evo 8...

Although I quite fancy a Lotus Exige S2 after El mentioned them the other day. Not really considered them but I don't need practicality so why not. Next car will be more track focused I feel. There's only so much fun you can have on the roads. The urge to get on the track gets greater with each spirited drive, just a shame my car won't be ready this season :(
