You shouldnt have to fit a spacer to not get an error code, there is a problem in the new map, i kept getting two codes continually. One being 1810 power supply terminal 30: voltage too low. Only got the code with the new AmD map. It triggered the EML light every time the error came back. Also the next code was 16804- catalyst system bank 1: efficiency below threshold. The both popped up a couple of times while during the two weeks the AmD map was on the car. Also on a few occassions the car would start in limp mode, so you had to turn it off and back on and it was fine. AmD did try to sort this out and it did cure it but a week later it kept happening so i just had revo put back on and didnt ever experience none of these codes or problems again. Your codes are to do with the map Tom

Which ones? Have you got a link? I had a look but didn't know which ones to go for.

The listing has ended for the one's I bought mate but I'm pretty sure they are these from the same seller:

I really need to sort out my numberplate LED's! Gotta drive to my girlfriends in half hour when I will NEED the lights on. It's going to be embarrassing knowing that's going on at the rear of my car!

Hmm, maybe I should ask them for a cheeky REVO trial Brad? I've still got to sort out my fmic hose as I think it's leaking slightly which might be throwing that code.

But yeah, if yours was fine and had none of those codes with REVO I will aim to get that on the car eventually if they can put it on as a trial for me.

I've cleared the codes last night and will scan it tomorrow afternoon to see if they've come back. Cheers for the info mate!

There the sidelights I've got mate and each LED is slowly packing in one by one. How are yours holding up? I've still had no bother with my number plate bulbs! I'll have to keep a watch now though. Keep us updated with which ones you get next. May change them for peace of mind!

Sorry to hear about all the bother your having with the new AMD map, if your not happy with it you should definately enquire abut the Revo map, at least it would put your mind at rest!

Just taken out the LED numberplatebulbs mate. Put standard one's back in!
In terms of sidelights, my one's have been good as gold.. Seems we are the other way around here!

I'm going to ask around for LED numberplate bulbs see which one's are best and have been trialled on people's LCR's for a decent amount of time with no issues. Mine had been on 2-3 months before I just took them off :(

Well on the map... I've just scanned the car with vagcom while I'm out here, and can report only the lambda fault code has come back up since I cleared them...

I drove the car earlier and did give it some welly, and the boost leak pressure drop DV code hasn't come back. So this would point to the map do you think?

No knock sensor 2 code either. But will keep my eye on that on as from my knowledge it's not likely to be a map related fault.

Let me know how the spacer goes bid! I got that code back for the lambda so if it clears yours I'll get one ordered :)

Cheers for the offer mate but I'm going to order the same LED's that Dan is running.

Hi Tom,

How's the VCDS logging going? While you do it, am I able to ask a cheeky favour and get you to log block 115 so I can compare AMD Stage 2 with my AMD Stage 1, it'll really help me see where mine is going wrong and if the Stage 2 code on yours is preventing the surge that I am seeing.

Thanks :)

Hi Jay,

I've not got round to doing it yet bud. My best 'area' to do some logs is a small trek from me and I'm currently hunting 24/7 for a new job (FUN!) so the car isn't a priority at the moment. Especially as I just forked out for the insurance today. Still, I left that light of green shade company ;) and have gone across to Adrian Flux, well Groupama through them. All stage 2 mods declared and power declared at a hundred quid less than my renewal! Happy with that. But nothing is happening to my car or any extreme use of v-power until a new job is sorted...

Sorry to be a humbug all...
I will get these logs soon as I can. My car hasn't moved for days and is dirty as hell. Really getting neglected at the moment - which I feel bad about! However, I'm going Brands Hatch at the weekend for the BTCC so it will be cleaned on Friday.

Also not had time to call AmD today as I've been talking to job agencies and sorted an interview for Wednesday morning. Once all this situation blows over, the car will get finished, but not to the extent I originally intended. I've spent alot and when the car goes, my own property will be next. I'd like to think I can squeeze a MK2 Cupra with a cheeky stage one into the equasion though! ;)

So no need to rinse £'s every month with v-power then? I wish I could use public transport to get to my place of work. Would save me quite a lot each month.

What's next on the list then after faults are sorted?

Haha exactly. The car is a proper weekend only car now, just hope my driving doesn't suffer and I become a shameful weekend driver!!

Next on the list, is full polybushing the car with superpro bushes... ARBs, new badger5 brake setup of EBC discs, ds2500 pads, motul rbf660 fluid and oem replacements on the rear..

Then uprate the rods, clutch and flywheel! Then possibly track it if it feels ready to me ;)

Good news Tom :D

Cheers matey :D

Oh no, you better not become one of those average speeders - the f**kwits that drive along your favourite B-road at 45mph then when they hit town and the limit drops to 30mph, they steam right on at the same 45mph they were before. They make my piss boil [:@]

Congrats on the job mate :)
