Yeah i was thinking that would be the easier option :D I checked on google map and it's 65 miles to yours with a journey time of 1hr 20min, i reckon i could do i in an hour flat. :1st: ;)

Im thinking a passenger ride in your LCR is a must... just saying.

I reckon you could do it under the hour mark mate... :)

I'm sure we'll have time for a quick blat around the block and back..... :D

Busy Saturday.

So today I had 3 tasks to get through and got them all done I'm pleased to say :)

First of all it was off to meet James (Doctor Gonzo) at 9am this morning to hand over the Milltek cat back to its new home. I'm sure she will be looked after very well by James!
It was good to catch up with him and I took him out for a blast in my car which was fun.

Got a pic of the cars parked up.

Next task was to finish off my mate Chris' (demonite on here) induction setup. We got the old tip off his LCR last week and installed the SFS 3" version.

Today we finished off by adding the Jabbasport heatshield which I have myself, and it all went pretty smoothly. His car is coming along nicely, and it's nice to lend a hand to others where I can :)

Chris' car on my drive getting work below. He's bringing the car along to AmD rr day tomorrow so I'm keen to see what his car is going to make. Standard map but with this setup. Maintained properly and run on the right fuel, so might make a bit more than 225. Time will tell...

So with that all taken care of and Chris on his way to clean his car ready for tomorrow, it was time to give my car a 'quick' clean for tomorrow. Came up really well. It's a shame it might rain tomorrow though :(

Also got a video of my Piper cat back on idle start.

Will most likely stick her on the rollers tomorrow and see what she's kicking out. Anything near what she made 1 year ago will do me fine. It'll be nice to know that the money spent recently has got her back up to near full power.. She certainly feels quick again. Will get a video of the rr run...

Thanks mate :)

I'm sure you will before the season is out ;) You have the exhaust now! You don't NEED the fmic for stage 2 really, but if you do it in the summer you will benefit with one fitted alot..

New power output reached :) AmD RR Day Results..

Well, today has left me with a big grin on my face if I'm honest :D

Firstly, I just want to say what a great day it was at AmD despite shocking weather. Had a right laugh and a good banter with loads of people. Great bunch tbh :)

Also want to add a thanks to AmD who continue to support the SEAT community by putting these shows on and opening up on a Sunday for all of us. Top work as usual.

Secondly, I'm still taken back by comments my car gets and the attention it can draw. I've not gone for in your face looks but quite a few people asked me about the car today and seemed pretty impressed with it. Makes this 2 year slog so far with it all the more worthwhile.

So I decided after the small issues I've had since January knocking the power down and making the car feel like a sack of cr*p to drive, I'd get her on the rollers to see what's what.

To compare:

February 2011 at AmD: 300.5bhp & 330.7 lb/ft torque.

Today at AmD... 309.6bhp and 357.2 lb/ft torque... :smoke:

The car became the highest standard k04 runner of the day :1st: lol.

Some pics and of course, a video ;)
