Next will be a bigger update.

Cheers for looking.

Thanks for coming round today mate :)
Those caps do look good, I'd be intrested to see if I can seperate them

Anytime mate, was a right laugh with El aswell :)

I'd offer you my cap to see if they can be separated but I'd rather not risk it breaking ;)

Let me know if you want them I'll give you a contact to ring up..

Good day lads, proper laugh at TED tuning :p

Caps do look really good mate and your car is lovely regardless of the notchy gear changes. Gear linkage reset should sort that as you have seen how smooth mine are

TED Tuning is the way forward mate ;)

Thanks mate, really pleased with them.

I'm going to have my car up at my mates garage when I can so his gearbox specialist there can take a look at it all and tweak where necessary. Yours was very smooth and impressive to drive. The clutch felt great too, much lighter than I thought it would be mate.

Put the engine cover back on earlier, I am missing one screw though but I've asked Dave at Sere for a couple to be sent out. I always seem to lose them

Just need to sort the PAS cap now and the washer cap, and then I think that's the bay done really unless I want to get serious with it. Which to be honest, I can't really be bothered now, would rather spend it on more important parts..

Also put an AmD sticker on the strut brace as it was looking a bit bare.

Couple of pics of how it stands now:

Rear washer jet fixed.

So when it was really ice cold a month or so ago, I went to use my rear washer jet when driving and nothing happened :( It had come loose at one of the 2 connections in the boot.

Turned out it wasn't the same connection as popped off last year (easier one) as this one was leaving some washer fluid by my rear bumper! It was leaking from directly underneath the rear wiper arm on that connection.

So I had to remove all these plastics on the underside of the boot lid. They are really horribly clipped in and a couple of the clips broke but there is still 6 in tact upon re-fitting so it's sitting back as it was when I started out, which is what I wanted.

The hosing had popped off the connector so I re-fitted and then got a small cable tie and did this as tight as it would go. I think over the warmer months it'll be fine as this only happens when the washer hoses freeze up then you try pump it by using it and it blows the hose off the connector where the pressure builds up.

Working again all fitted up.

Warning to anyone needing to do this:

Be prepared to cut yours hands/graze them really badly! You WILL try get your hands in the gaps where you pull out the light covers in the rear inner boot lining. Once as unclipped as poss, give it loads of man power to prize away from the boot.
There is also 2 screws on the inner boot handles, one on each, these are philips screws and need to be taken out.

Bit of a PITA if I'm honest, but once you get stuck in just persist...

I really really need to sort my rear washer. I think mine has come off at the other connection tho. The one around the boot light. Love the coolant cap.

The connection by the light is the one which came off mine the winter before this one.. Not a great design by SEAT

Luckily though that one is MUCH easier to deal with. One screw, pull the plastic away which happens straight forward enough, and then re-connect and put everything back together. If you find washer fluid around the boot seal near the bumper when you try the rear wash, then it's not the easy one, lol.

Cheers, I'm really pleased with the caps :)

Brakes!!!! :)

New brake setup getting ordered either tonight or tomorrow night! Well the fronts only this month as I also have insurance due end of this month.... Fun times for my wallet!!!

Going for:

-EBC Ultimax grooved discs.
-Ferodo DS2500's.
-Motul RBF660 fluid (x2 for a full fluid change).

Should come to around £350.

Can't wait! Had standard setup since I bought the car and it's done really well but never had that 'bite' to it which I need. The car goes well now, but just doesn't want to stop very much, lol...

:D

You won't be disappointed with the DS2500's

Indeed mate :)

Tried and tested setup and I drove El's car at the weekend which really impressed me the way it stopped.

Can't wait to get the setup on now.

Hope these weeks go quick for you James, I know that car is going to be insane when you get it back I'm sure!!!
