NO. I'm not finished mate, no where near the more I think about it

That shifter is quite pricey, looks decent though.

It's only £121 + Import tax Tom, Plus it looks like that has the the side to side short side as well as the front to back and you don't need the bush kit, so that would work out cheaper. Just looks a bit to over engineer, It would be interesting to see how it works

Very true mate. I didn't notice that it's also side to side function too..

Tempting then if you haven't done any short shift/bushes as yet.

The reviews at the bottom of that page look good!

Just had a proper look at it and I like it [B)]
Much cheaper than buying the both the Forge shifters and the bush kit

Does look good but I all ready have both the forge ones so I'm just going to get the bushes , the forge side to side one doesn't really do alot tbh the front to back is really good tho , you could always make your own short shift which is free and get the bushes if you want a selector i have my standard one you can mod

Head unit..

I'm eyeing up one of these for the new year. Always loved my Pioneer home stereo I have and my Sony in my car now isn't quite as good as I'd like for sound quality.

If anyone has any other suggestions around this price and as good a spec let me know. I'm aware the 2013 models will be out within a couple of months, but just trying to weigh up what I need to spend.

I do like Alpine's aswell but the design isn't as nice as the Pioneer's IMO.

Can't go wrong with a Pioneer mate. Alpine are my 2nd choice. I'm going to wait for the 2013 range to come out then decide. In no rush at the mo..

Progress pics..

Been sent some pics of my long lost car (Thursday was a long time ago! ;))

Not an ideal start for my friend to drive it up the road to the garage after I left it there the night before..

Are you still planning on rods in the new year?

Dunno yet mate. I hate being without the car as it is now and it's not a small job. Might just leave it for another year and get more track time in.. If it goes it goes, lol.

dig deep tom, can be done for not that much money for something <400HP.

It's too much still mate.. I will enjoy the car how it is next year running this power as it's good fun. Maybe one day as I'm planning on keeping the car a long time now, then I'll play with turbo's :p

Rods can be done in about 1 - 2 days by a decent mechanic. :)
