I'm really unsure what to do next. With El and Daz getting new wheels I have fancied some for mine and thought about it a fair bit recently. It's hard to get the right set for these cars though, they're not easy. I look back on pics when the car was clean from last year and I still love the wheels I have now. I won't rush it and if I don't find a set I really like, I won't be shelling out. I'd rather keep mine now and do the other mods which I know I'm 100% wanting for the car at this very moment.

Debating an R32 MK4 wheel now aswell to match my interior, but I think I'll just re-con my 225 wheel for now with some cherry blossom soon and see how I feel about it then. I've got 3 mods all £200 or more each without even thinking about wheels. Insurance is up end of March too so I can't see any potential wheel upgrades happening before then.

I'm almost content with the car how it is now, as a stage 2 OEM+ car I think it could be done by the summer to a point where I say no more. Enjoying it more than ever at the moment!

Got to love a proper spec list ;)

Top purchase on the seats mate. Like we said, take your time if your buying wheels. Look how long it's taken us to do it

My old lc had factory fitted heated seats nice little add on in the winter.....

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Ahh cool so there was heated from factory as an option then on the mk1! Nice one on the info. I will try get round to sorting out the heating for the seats but in no massive rush as yet.

Cool mate :) Hope it all goes well on Friday.

Yeah drop me a pm. I better clear some out as they're nearly full again. Would definitely be good to meet up for sure :)

Seats look awesome Tom! Can't help but think the steering wheel needs to match them though......R32 steering wheel next?!

Matt.

Thanks Matt :D And yeah I have been toying with the idea of the 32 wheel next.. We'll see ;)

Hope your car is running well mate?

Seats look great Tom, but aye, you need the R32 wheel to compliment them ;)

Can't honestly say I remember how a standard wheel feels now - been rocking the R32-ness since 2005 :funk:

Thanks mate :)

Yeah I'm thinking about it alright don't worry. I like the chunkier wheel and the thumb rests on the inner part of the wheel. Feels good! :p

Tom likes to hold something with a bit of girth in his hand, something which he is un-used to... Lol :)

Lol.

That's not what my ex's said mate ;)

Rods, relentless manifold and WMI on that list?

No mate. Engine work has stopped now. Happy with it how it is and it's reliable so no need to start tinkering. The power is enough for me through the front wheels.

until next winter with a few more track days under the belt:)

No chance!

Unless you've got a massive straight I don't feel the need for more power on UK tracks. I'll be back on Brands at some point this year but you barely top 120mph or so down the straight before hitting the brakes for paddock hill bend.

If I change it'll be an Evo with 4WD.

S3 it is then....

Lol. NO!

Actually been put off now with the TFSI engines also...

How about sticking a 3.2 in it then tuning?

Haha, no way! If I had bought an R32 years ago I would have saved for a big turbo kit as with the 4WD already in place, a bigger capacity engine (which can handle over 400bhp on standard internals maybe more) it's capable of tuning out the box and would go like stink off the line.

The LCR to get the same tune needs a ridiculous amount of work. I just want the best OEM+ stage 2 LCR I can have and I'm not a million miles away now from finishing the bigger/pricier mods.
