I had my DV relocation kit years ago when it was a bit better priced, Its a bit expensive now for what it is
I need to weld a port on my pipework for the DV as ive been told to try and get the DV as close to the throttle body as you can
My car has undergone de-forgeing recently though

I got an 'Awesome' discount to make it more reasonable. I realise you can get it cheapish DIY but the Forge kit is pure quality throughout as expected and I don't mind paying a bit more for peace of mind and a top product.

Getting the DV in the low position was a tricky part to make sure it didn't sit too high to foul the bonnet.

Cheers mate :)

Alternative is to stick with the standard one and keep that mint. I don't mind it if I'm honest. You can't buy the Forge one anymore as they stopped making it themselves because they fade and go a bit yellow. I'm gona speak to Awesome GTI tomorrow morning and discuss what to do. They might have another yet which they could test fit for me on another LCR and then send that down. I don't know. We'll see..

Standard cover isn't that bad really. Could smooth and paint it like RDS did?? Thought they stopped selling it as iv just been looking for it on google and nothing came up :(
But yeah see what they say as its a shame it doesn't fit considering how much it is

Does anyone know if the MK1 Leon had heated leather seats from factory at all? Was it the pre facelift Cupra's? If so, I need to know what the switches are like...

Dont know if you done the switches mate, but ive got the heated konigs in mine too and installed a loom and the switches

Yeah the standard one is ok really mate and I like it enough when it's given a good clean up :) I doubt I will bother painting it or anything I am trying to cut down now on mods and just enjoy the car and maintain it.

Will be calling Awesome today about the ECS one.

I haven't done the loom or switches mate no. I was hoping I wouldn't need to until next winter, but it's like we are never going to get spring so I am tempted to bring it forward! Lol.

Cheers for the pic appreciate it. What's it like to install the loom and switches? Never done it before.

As the engine bay stands now (Forge washer cap now on too)

Got my power steering one from JCaps on route so hoping that turns up soon and finishes off the last remaining 'ugly cap cover'

Then I will remove the blue Forge sticker on the oem engine cover and give the whole bay a bloody good clean.

I spoke to Awesome GTI today about my ECS carbon fibre one not fitting right and Al was good on the phone just said to send it back for a refund no probs so that's what I'll be doing. I tried but it didn't work out, but the new boost to play with and the other bits are more than keeping me happy. Still feels like she needs a service and this will happen next along with rear pads and discs.

:)

JCaps power steering cover arrived from the US today. Great service from Jay there he said he would get it over within 5 days and I can't complain at that.

Really impressed with the quality of the cap. You pay for quality but its worth it :)

You got to get the LHD airbag off and rear heater switch as they now go where the cupholder once sat. then the 2 heater switches where your old airbag light and heater switch was. get all the switches from Sere or your local stealer, then get a Kufatec loom to wire it up. Wasnt too dificult, just hide all the wiring under your carpet.
