tail light problem

my driver side taillights has stopped working, ive changed the bulbs, swapped over the holders with the pasengers side and checked the fuses but nothing seems to work. i installed to auto gauges the other day o im thinkning i may have messed up a connection, which wire would be respnsible for the tail light not working?

Checked the fuse?
Have you tried replacing the fuse?

Check fuse, then would check that they have a good earth connection, then with a multimeter check the supply voltages etc.

yep iv check the fuses they seem fine, how do you check if they have a good earth connection?

why not take the gauge back out and see if that fixes the problem

do one thing at a time and cross them out as you go
