May sound a bit of an odd one but bear with me.
Back Story; Having installed the double din console previously along with the matching lower gear lever console, I discovered that the original LCR gear lever gaitor frame is different and won't fit the lower console with the ashtray forward of the lever. I finally decided to do something about it and contacted David at Sere Motors (fantastic customer service btw) who managed to source the correctly fitting gaitor frame.
My problem now is that I need to seperate the top part with the leather gaitor from the bottom part of the frame so I can swap them over. Has anyone done this previously or know how to do it?
