I've had some very small but very annoying tar spots on the paint for a while, and being a silver car made them more noticeable.

Ive tried a few products to remove them, none of which were great, but today i bought some Autoglym intensive tar remover........ Wow! Absoulutely amazing product! The tar spots, some which may have been on there for 10 years or more, just literally disolved and wiped away in seconds.

Highly recommended if anyone else has the same problem. http://www.halfords.com/motoring/ca...lish-wax/autoglym-intensive-tar-remover-325ml

Yeah mate, i think all their products are good tbh, the interior shampoo is top stuff as well.

Tar remover was just insane though! The door sills, which somehow had tar spots on them as well, look like new after using it and the car is 15 years old.

This stuff smells of petrol/paint thinners.... get a good headrush when using it, although inhaling it isn't recommended as it causes lung damage lol.

Best tar remover I've used is Autosmart Tardis, brilliant stuff! Spray on leave for 2-5 mins and pressure washer off. 1 or 2 really tough spots might need wiped with a microfiber cloth with tardis sprayed on it
