Wanting to see if anyone would be interested in the Tarox 6 pot caliper upgrades. They come with:

6 pot billet calipers

fast road pads
and 280mm discs.

The normal retail on these is £635+VAT, if we get enough interest these could be done at £545+VAT

We need 5 names.... at least

280 mm discs will go under 15 inch rims,it depends on the caliper clearance i can only assume.

Thats our crimbo spirit! lol could charge £639+VAT!

Yeah its a four stud fitment, same as the mk2's, should fit no problems at all under standard cupra alloys. Tarox say they require at least 15's.

Compared to brembo's.....well different people have different views. We have done loads of kits now, ranging from R32's to an A3 with an IHI conversion, to our own MK5 GTi and MK3 Golfs and have had nothing but praise for them.

They are a billet caliper, not cast, and the valves and seals are all matched up to suite your master cylinder.

Dean who works here has them on his MK3, we car share week to week and god have they got us out of some sticky situations!! Hammer them and they just dont seem to fade at all! And theres more wheel clearance than brembo's, quite a bit more in fact!

Postage to mainland UK would be £10+VAT, not too bad i thought.

The brembo's on the Cupra R are slightly larger if i remember right, dunno exact size though. Your more likely to have clearance problems with the brembo's, as far as i know they wont fit under standard alloys.

Jay... Yes there are larger kits available, starting price is around £1100+VAT

may the price be reduced if it's added to the group buy ?

in fact i'm searching a bigger than standard brake kit that would fit under the standard alloys and brembo won't  (to answer Rick-24 i think the discs on the R brembo kit are 305x28)

i may be interested in the tarox 6 pot calipers and 280mm discs kit but i wonder what kind of differences there are with the brembo 4 pot calipers and 305mm discs kit

Well if people wanted i could try for a group buy on the larger kits available, you can go for 10 pots with them if you really wanted, but i chose this one as it is the best value for money IMO and thought it would cater for those who cant afford to go for the grand+ options.
