TDI 110 air filter - piper cross or green cotton?

Guys,

Cleaned out my paper filter today and it was looking a bit sorry for it self so think I might treat the car in the new year and get a new filter for the air intake.

Now I was thinking green cotton but someone recommended the piper cross one (which is cheaper too!) so which one?

Also whats the dealeo with them and the oiling? Does it come oiled or would I need to oil it? Will it make any difference over the paper oe filter?

i bought the green cotton filter comes pre oiled just lash it in and go your not really going to notice any noise difference as its enclosed

I'm not worried about noise tbh more just general smoothness and running. Will I notice it there?

it would be quite sutble the changes, it will be a bit smoother for you. Get a green one from Badger5, on here for a discount too.

i fitted green cotton on my 110 bout 2 weeks ago and did notice slightly better pickup on the low end and did seem to rev slightly quicker
