Tdi Sport Power

I have done a quick search buty cant really find an answer.

I don't know if i should post it here or in the TDi section but here goes ......

I have seen a lot of Mk4 ibiza tdi sports on ebay and autotrader and the adverts saying thqt they are a tdi sport 110BHP. But I was lead to belive that all MK4s were either 100BHP or 130BHP.

Im lookin for a 02 or 03 plate, what BHP would be in these cars?

130 , if you get a pic of the sticker under the boot carpet it should have ASZ printed on it, also 6 speed box is a give away

seat list a 100 a 130 and a seperate tdi so maybe that one is 110

the other tdi is a 1.4, but dealers will be saying some sports are 100 as i think when the fr came out having 130 bhp the sport then got the 100bhp but will have a 5 speed so anything with 6 speed will be the 130 tdi

ive seen the one your on about, its blue. It will be a 130 from its age.

If you get your 130bhp Sport 6 speed be careful when you insure it. The insurance companies seem as confused about the power output of the Sport.
I had several very low quotes only to find they were quoting for 100bhp units but who would be without insurance if you made a claim and they found out you had the more powerful engine.
