Temperature problems!!

Hi

My Outside temperature display seems to have gone a bit crazy
it always seems to read 31c and i know theres no way in this country lol.

Is this easy to replace / fix??

Also does it affect my heaters as i seem to be having to turn them right up high just to get some heat?? Very irritating!!

It's quite a common problem on ibiza's as the sensor is housed in the wing mirror on the passenger side. It looks like a little black nipple on the underside of the mirror housing. The location of the sensor means it's exposed to the elements and they get broken quite easily.

Wouldn't bother removing the door card. Just remove the mirror casing and cut and solder the new sensor in place.

Ok mate thx for the post

I just emailed that chap selling them asking for one. What a stupid place to have it in the first place!! Still love the car low lol
