temperature sender?

My temp gauge on the dash has stopped working,not moving at all,is this likely to be cos the sender on the block is knackered?? car seems fine otherwise

had the same problem.... got a sender/sensor from euro car parts for tenner (ish) sorted the probelm - easy job - dont forget to top up with water after!
