Tempreture Gauge

Morning all

Had a strange incident on Sunday with my tempreture gauge

Was driving about 70 mph on dual carraige way with gauge sitting at 90 dead mid way when it suddenly dropped off to nothing, then back up again then down etc.

It continued doing this but didn't ever go any higher than 90.

Any ideas? I've got three month private warranty left but don't know if this is covered?

Mine had been doing the same thing recently. Then it started dropping back to zero and sitting there. Took it to the dealers and it was a simple temperature switch replacement - performed under warranty without question.

Quite a common thing - plenty of threads on here.

I had a problem with my gauge, sometimes it worked sometimes it didnt at all. replaced the coolant temperature sender, £22. Tis fine now.

Thanks, where did get this from? part number etc, any other bits i need to go with it?

got it from IMG dealership.
didnt need anything else, just swapped over. will get part number when i get home
