Well I bought Thehulkster's reject, and all I can say is I'm glad he didn't buy it!

I guess it wasn't the car for him, I was coming from a totally different angle, owning a BMW 530d GT (aka barge), and wanting something that felt like it actually wanted to be driven quickly rather than persuaded!

The car is a credit to it's previous owner and spotless. Love the technology, and apart from all the other discussions about DSG or Manual, if you want adaptive cruise then DSG is the only way to go! Can't see the point of Adaptive and a manual as as soon as the required speed drops too much you have to change gear, meaning you've cancelled the cruise control!

With the DSG you can go from your set speed down to a standstill and as long as the traffic moves off within a couple of seconds you're away again without doing anything. Might seem alien to some, but for me it's perfect on the daily grind to and from work!

Well, I wish you good health to enjoy your Cupra!

I agree - the car WAS immaculate.....even for someone like me who is VERY picky when it comes to car condition.

Good news.
