Hi J
No sorry mate I didn’t take any pics. I was the first to drive the car apart from the Dealer Principle. The salesman that came out with me wasn’t allowed to take it out on his own as he was under 25

.
First impressions:
Has got presence but I wouldn’t personally choose the Grey. Nice though it looks, it just doesn’t do the Cupra justice imo. Perhaps a good thing, but absolutely no one gave the car a second glance (that I saw anyway). Still not 100% sure about the lack of front fogs , especially in direct sun as you can see straight through to the radiator etc. 19”s look great, could possible get away with being lowered very slightly. Spoiler is very discreet as are the black mirrors. Car was fitted with the Adaptive Cruise, the radar sensor in the middle of the grill looked slightly off centre, but could have just been me!
Interior:
Very nice place to be, this one had full leather and they were very comfortable (not sure if they are the same as in the FR I think they are). Everything appeared pretty well screwed together, no rattles that I heard. Easy to get comfy (I’m 5’11”). Really liked the digital speedo on the MFD (can be changed from mph to kmh).
Start up:
Quiet – similar to my FR I would say, you wont be waking the neighbours.
Driving:
Round town, in Comfort mode, mainly and couple of miles in Sport. Felt just like a regular hatchback in Comfort, popped into Sport and immediately dropped down a gear and felt more urgent – round town I would probably leave in Comfort.
County A roads, with no/little traffic: Sport and Cupra mode, this thing really flys in both these modes, I didn’t hear a great roar from the engine which was a little disappointing, holds the road brilliantly and very comfy even in Cupra mode.
Dual carriageway: Joined the A23 in Sport mode and easily filtered into the traffic, popped into Cupra mode again and floored it from 50mph, slight pause then wahhhaaaa, had to rain myself in, 65+ it really takes off. Shame it wasn’t a manual as it would have been a lot easier to compare to my car (which it would obviously leave standing).
I didn’t play with the MFD, as wanted to spend time driving the car, so cant comment on that I only used it to change mode, which can be done through the Cupra button or via the screen.
This is a great car, only disappointment was I thought it may sound a little better, oh and the price, this demo is up for £32k !!!! Discounts don’t seem to be being offered at the mo.
I am going to try the FR 180 next week, it won’t be as quick but ticks all the other boxes for me
