Yeah that'll do. Think most the reviews have dried up now. Funny how the first impression ones seem bad but then the ones where people have actually spend some time with the car actually like the DSG.
yeah i couldnt stand it when i tried it, but i suppose the idea of it is to adapt to your driving style, it would have been smart for them to make everyone aware of that so the first reviews dont knock a brilliant idea
I only found out about the link because of some mini mag that came through my door. It had a kind of review of the boc and they travel through spain like in the vid.
I like the music in the second video with the Leon's in as well.
Thought this was a bit of interesting reading, not much in it between the Astra and the Ibiza considering the 57bhp difference. I don't know the track maybe its not especially fast full of slow bends. maybe its all irrelevant lol
Ibisa TSI 180hp Torque 184 Lb-Ft
Track: Anglesey National Lap Time: 1:10.6 Faster Than: Ford Focus ST Slower Than: Opel Astra OPC '05
Astra Vxr 237hp Torque 236 Lb-Ft
Track: Anglesey National Lap Time: 1:10.50 Faster Than: Seat Ibiza Cupra 1.4 TSi 180 Slower Than: BMW X6 xDrive50i
Main purpose for www.fastestlaps.com is to collect lap times from different tracks for different cars. All lap times seen in this portal are collected from various trusted sources - mainly automotive TV shows and car magazines. All hot laps are performed by professional racing drivers and cars are pushed to the limits.
There's a videoreview on MSN Cars. It appears on this page (middle-ish of page on the right-ish) but I suspect it will get bumped off at some point. Maybe someone can track down the permanent link?
Not supprised with the ST being slower. That 5cyl engine is heavy and the brakes on stock car are poor and fade quickly due to front weight. Lots of body roll too.
The ibiza weighs a good 250kg lighter and only has 50hp less, but with the added bonus of a quick box and less weight to stop in the bendy bits
The ibiza cupra will punch above its power figures suggest, in my opinion.
