the diffrenc in engines

hi all

just a quick question what diffrenc is there in the golf 20 v t engine in the gti and the same block in the cupra r. I beleave that the lcr have a six speed box and the gti has a 5 but is that the only diffrence

Most golfs have non VVT engines apart from the Annerversary with the AUQ LC engine?

I think one of the golf engines has bigger pins on the rods like the LCR has.

A lot of the golfs have large port heads as well.

The Golf has a single intercooler where as the LCR has two. It also has a smaller turbocharger (K03) than the LCR (K04).
