haha thats what we all say bud sooner or later its gonna happen
ok service is done! tinkered with various bit and bobs also. now have the black carpeted gti parcel shelf mounts, just need the shelf now, steering wheels on straight, rear speakers are now hook up and working, check straps are all tight and non clicky now....... Also pick up the 16v rear lights tom so they will be on soon and then golf wont look quite so chav with its black rear lights!
Alot better than the last chavvy lights bud keep the updates coming
cheers dude, the all black lights werent my cup of tea, but the 16v lights were a bargin at £14.03 for the set

I mounted my amp.
I took out the standard wooden panel in the left side of the boot and made a mdf replica, then carpetted it with some left over basebox carpet and bolted it all in! total cost............ 50p for an off cut of mdf from homebase!
not bad for an evenings work

ive got to hook the amp up and put the sub in (just the small 10 the i had in the ibiza in a free standing box. need it to be easy to remove). im still on the hunt for a gti parcel shelf so i can do the dreaded and mount my 6x9's in it
(cant be arsed with the hassle and expence in making/buying a stealth shelf........i think
). that and i need to do something with the front speakers as the 22 year old standard one dont seem to like my hu powering themother then that just a few little bits here and there. still not sure if i keep this car or just run it for 6months and flog it
Ah I thought the amp was running the front speakers I used to run 6x9s in previous car but then preferred to have decent fronts amped and same as you small 10" sub. Ha if I had teh car 6 months I'd prob do the same as you tbh few things like the service mainly to make it easier to sell on and make a bit of money back!

I want to rat a bonnet for mine Rear lights were a barginok been busy over the last few weeks but here's some updates,
1st - got a stealth shelf off ebay and some new boot gas struts
2nd - a friend dug out an ashtray he had kicking around, check out the real carbon fibre front!! (hey it was free lol)
3rd - a friend got me a sticker!
4th - the biggest update, I won a bonnet on ebay for 99p and decided to paint it with chalkboard paint!! Considering i rollered it on with a mini roller it came out pretty wel i thought!
Thoughts??
