The Red Arouser
Now that I can upload photos and stuff, thought I should get on the bandwagon..

I'd like to introduce, The Red Arouser. :)

Modifications
Coilovers, lowered all the way.. (Eibach apparently)
Pipercross air filter.
Magnaflow backbox..
Piece of crap, ricer look gearknob.
Loads of air freshners..
Some Decals.. Inc. seatCupra.net!
Osram headlight bulbs, led sidelights (one has recently decided to not work tho!)
Aero wipers, Polo mk6 rear wiper.
Debadged, S badgeds satin black'd.

To Do List
New Lock mechanism.
New Gear Linkage.
New passengers side rub strip/possibly remove all and replace with stripe decals.
Raise suspension, 2" possibly.
Tint windows?
Make it faster, cause I'm gettin bored of it's slugishness...

Who knows, it could all change!

As you can see, the boy that had this previously was one careless, young, muppet. There's also a compression mark on the back bumper, paints all cracked off but change in actual shape...

And here's that "HAndcrafted" gearknob.

Originally it was as if a dog had chewed it, with the plastic in a spike shape n it hurt a bit when shifting. So I got crafty with a knife :)

Chuck Norris taught me how to do this.

cant wait to see your plans happen mate
ive got a lupo gti gearknob i think laying about can have it if i can find where i put it

think if you pull the gaitor down there is a weird clip thing undo that and it should come off ill have a look at the other one and should be same

Result! Was this with only boiling water, or did you use dental floss too?

No dental floss man! I'm sure it would have been easier to remove the adhesive tape, but you'd still need to clean up the residue. So since I didn't have any anywhere, I just got a blunt kitchen knife, wraped a sock round it a bit, and gently tugged away at the badge.

The one thing I did notice to be a good tip was, wiggle the knife under a bit, and when it starts to get a bit tight, dont push or wiggle more, you'll scratch the paint. Instead, leave the sock'd up knife exactly where it is, behind the badge, and slowly pour more boiling water ino the gap. It'll loosen it right up then just wiggle away again.

looks good mate one more job done now on to the next one lol ....... do the seat badge red and black look look sweet my mates done it with his vw one on his lupo

You no jokin! Lol.
It's funny you should say that, I kinda thought about it when I first got the car, but thought it might look a bit Type R-ish..
The g60's I have are white so I think i'll just keep the badges black for contrast.

...some red wheel nuts would be a nice idea though....

nuts screw on and bolts screw in easiest was to explain lol.....

and i need spacers to fit my wellers or i can get my wheels redrilled for £80 by bloke near me as they are ford fitment atm

fit good on front without spacers not test fitted on the back yet though so will have to wait till cars back down on all 4s to get a test fit then i will know still need to get tyres yet but need to see if im going to need to stretch them or not on the back

GEOFF.....................
