There are a few members on here running similar power, with a litte more torque infact.. so "strongests" it might not be :D Still, sure its not slow :p

Whats 225 ps in BHP? About 223?

That is impressive, but I'd imagine not all that reliable. I know Red Cupra TDI is running 210BHP, and I have been RR @204, I imagine ~223 ish as far as you could realistically go.

What other Mods have you got? or is it just a re-map?

yes i am serious. i am a guy from poland. turbo is much bigger. i installed also 2,5 inch exhaust system, big cooler, another external oil cooler, grundler motorsport camshaft, injectors are standard. all modification is made in my friend's company www.compsport.pl.
in spring it will be 250 ps but i need to modificate the head of the engine. the heads manufactured before the year 2003 are diferrent so it means that the same parts and the same remap gives about 250ps

we have also vw corrado tdi 241 ps. please check compsport's web sit ask those guys and you will se. if i have time i will record accelerations time

HI!

The turbo gives about 2,0 bar in peak and AFAIC about 1,5bar constant but the owner should know better ;)

So let me get this straight and i am not having a go at you or your tuner.
You started with a Seat Ibiza PD160 Cupra.
You have fitted a hybrid turbo,exhaust, bigger intercooler ( which was totally pointless ), another oil cooler even though it comes with one fitted, Grundler camshaft ( do you know which model ) and your still only getting 225 ps and 410NM ( 302 LB ) torque. Sorry mate i would take it back to them and tell them i wanted better ! You should be getting that without the Grundler cam. Depending on what model was fitted you should see 15-35 bhp more top end power on top of the standard 225 bhp figure you are getting with those mods. Just in case you think i do not know what i am talking about i had ( like several other people on this site ) my Seat Ibiza PD160 tuned to 230bhp by Allard motorsport with a remap,hybrid turbo,exhaust and airfilter fitted.

I had my Cupra running a safe and provern 247bhp November 2005 when i added propane injection.

The car would make 260bhp on the dyno but peak boost pressure needed to be lowered to stop the car going into limp mode but i had a little accident back in November 2005 so the car never got remapped. I was hoping with bigger injectors and a larger turbo to reach 300 bhp.
I now drive an Audi A3 PD140 quattro with phase 1 and 2 fitted making 300 bhp with more mods and power to come.

did you have an oil temperature indicator. if you had one you would install an external one. usually without an external oil cooler i had over 120 degrees. such a big temperature kills grundler cam. now i have max 104. i must drive with maximum speed. i did not say thet you are stupid i don't know how it works. it is just a topic :). can you tell what is your time on1/4 mile 402,5 m with this mod. how many kilometers did you make with this mod. we have cars modified which made over 100 ooo km
