Also may see if I can get a boost gauge fitted at awesome. Just trying to find the right one now. Ideally I want it OEM looking but willing to consider.

The glowshift one looks really OEM but I've heard a couple of bad reports!

Springs fitted today @ Awesome GTI

Today I had my springs fitted @ Awesome GTI - the front looks lower but the rear hasn't settled yet. I'll leave them all settle in for a couple of weeks before posting pics.

Also fitting my Autogauge boost gauge on Sunday!

Should look something like this (pinched from Nimzy)

Lowered

As mentioned above, I've finally had my LCR lowered!

Not by a lot but just enough for me as my estate is full of speed bumps, hope you like!

Cheers mate, in answer to your question, yes & no. I absolutely love driving the petrol but it does cost an absolute fortune! I did enjoy the derv with all that torque & fuel economy etc but I love the LCR, total different cars.

After owning my Mk1 Leon PD130 and getting the Mk4 FR I missed the Leon. The Leon just felt nicer to drive, a much heavier car, which I like but I did like the Ibiza, just always wanted to go back to the Leon & it was always my dream to get the LCR and when the price was right & had a good quote on the insurance, I couldn't turn it down!

Yea I fancy some nice Recaro bucket seats but they will set me back about £800 for some nice looking comfy ones. The recliners are about £1800 but I don't need them in a 5dr car I suppose! Always liked the R32 interior but the seats are usually about the 1k mark for second hand seats.

Yea I'm actually down tomorrow until new year but I'll be down on the train as it would cost me about £80-£100 in fuel where as in the beefa it used to be about £55 lol. I will come down in it soon though, would be good to meet up with you boys.

Well I need tax, tyres & insurance this month! All come at once!

Ouch!! Mine use to be like this so only purchased 6 months tax so that it would come at a different time to my insurance.

what tyres you going for? I would highly recommend Toyo T1R, very happy with mine

Yeah I'm going for 6 months tax and I think I'm going to go for the Falken FK-452's.

I've had the T1R's before, they were good tyres but they didn't seem to last.

The tyres that are on the car now are horrendous (already on when I bought the car) so can't wait to have some proper grip!

Your cars looking sweet, I am subscribed and always read the updates

Cheers mate, planning a bit of a change of look for it but will see how it goes :D

Yeah I know what it's like having rubbish tyres, I had some awful Falken 912 tyres on there and was getting literally nowhere fast!

I don't recommend the Falken 452's tbh. Cheaper but this shows vs Toyo's and the like.

I run Proxes now and they are so much better, great grip in wet/dry. The Falken felt a bit budget on mine IMO.

Insurance and tax sorted, will probably be getting tyres on the 23rd, still unsure on which to get.

Installed my new JBL speakers yesterday as one of mine had blown.

Will be installing Auto Gauge boost gauge soon - just need to source the pillar pod.

On payday I'll be upgrading all the interior lights to LED, replacing my number plate bulbs as they are now flickering (well annoying) and will be getting a couple of SCN stickers.

Then in a month or so I want the Cobra non res catback exhaust!
