Hi Mate,
As I got the deal for £250 all in and I decided at half 3 I wanted it (Awesome shuts at 4) they didn't put it on the dyno's.
When I get chance I'll take it to Deeside to get it on the rollers there.
Awesome think it should be pushing around 265bhp bud.
Really chuffed with it to be fair, I'm moving back in with my folks in the next few weeks so I should have a lot of spare cash to play with. Will be looking at Stage 2 soon I hope!!

Looks great mate, HIDs are such a good looking mod! Couldn't get over the difference they make to the look of the car! Best colour too!
HID's are probably one of the best mods you can do!! Cheers mate, getting a lot of good comments about the colour lol.
Looking to change loads of things on the car - cheap sort of mods to get it looking better....

Done a few things to the car today to make it look neater...
First of all, we refurbed the Brembo's as they were pink and the paint had started to flake.

Then we decided to colour code some bits in the engine bay. The windscreen cap was blue and the coolant cap was the same colour so decided to spray them red. The oil dipstick was previously yellow so did that red too.
Big thanks to Jon for doing most of the painting while I polished her up!

I've got new number plate bulbs on the way as mine have started flickering! I'm also going to order 3 new 'R' badges as mine look worn along with some new centre caps. Also will be ordering some new EU plates. Then the exterior of the car should be spot on!
Ordered a few bits off the bay last night to tidy her up a bit. Will update tomoz when they all arrive

Awesome GTI - Rolling Road Day!
Went to Awesome today - met up with a few lads and had a really good day! My car went on the rollers 2nd from last and I'm well chuffed with the figures!
Had 3 runs - figures below:
Run 1:
263.49 bhp / 362.94 ft-lb torque
Run 2:
262.37 bhp / 363.62 ft-lb torque
Run 3:
259.32 bhp / 363.51 ft-lb torque
Will upload the graph on Monday when I can use works scanner.

I am slightly worried about the figure... I'll speak to Awesome, see what they say.
Could be overboosting?
Yeah it could be, when you had it on the rollers im sure they took a full read out, you got graphs for fueling and boost you could post up?
Nah just the bhp/torque graphs - will speak to Awesome. It must be NM figures but the graph definitely says ft-lb - weird.
It must be as I noticed two other cars had ridiculous torque figures while only running like 260-280bhp

Future Plans for the Car!
After owning the car for 11 months I've got a few more planned mods for the car.
- Eibach Pro Series Lowering Springs (Hopefully Fitted 29/11/11 @ Awesome GTI)
- Miltek Non Resonated Exhaust (End of Jan 2012)
- Wheels Refurbed in Gun Metal Grey with New Tyres (End of March 12)
- Full Decat Exhaust & Stage 2 Revo Remap (End of June 2012)
- Two Reclining Bucket Seats (End of September 2012)
