Thing under gas pedal!!

Hi!

i don t know the name of it,but under the gas pedal my 07 FR tdi as plastic thing!
is that a limiter not to it full throttle?
is it worth remove it?

You might be rigt though...
But my friend´s peugeot HDI had the thing removed (does it have a name) and seems to have more engine now when smashing the throttle at low speed...

It won't make the car go faster.

With VAG-COM connected, I put my foot to the floor with the stopper in place and it registered the throttle was at 100%.

The throttle cable does not go to the engine anyways - it's fly-by-wire!
