Thinking of buying a 1.8T Leon Cupra

Hi all,

I currently own a 1996 Peugeot 306 XS-S which I'm sure you will agree, is nothing when compared to the possible wonder of a Leon Cupra.

I'm looking at the 1.8T Leon Cupra (Not the "R") which I think would be a good balance between practicality and SPEED. For what its worth, I will probably be selling my Suzuki Bandit 1200 motorbike to help finance this, mainly because my lifestyle just doesn't really involve bike riding any more.

As I am posting in this forum, you probably guessed that I am after a second hand one.

Anyway, any hints and tips with looking to buy a car of this nature would be much appreciated. Tell me how much you love your cars as well, of course ;)

I'm probably going to go down the mail dealer route, but will avoid the usual scams (finance etc.)

Cool. You won't be disappointed.

There is a Leon FAQ on the forum, which answers many of you potential questions.

Otherwise they are good strong VAG cars, with about as few problems as the Golf. And much quicker.

Simon.
