Thought id show you a proper turbo

Some of you may know I'm a ford boy at heart.

Spent 14 hours today fitting this to a close friends cosworth ready for ford fair tommorow.

That's a gt35, externally gated.
Aiming for 600+ bhp and will be running in excess of 2 bar.

Will let you know how it goes tommorow. Going to be mapping on the way to silver stone

We got it finished 4.30 am this morn on way to silver stone now.

Blew the oil return out half hour ago so had to do a road side repair lol.

My god does it spool up though.

Yeah they soynd awesome spooling!! Is it 4x4? Mine was 2wd.

Yh 4x4 but doing a supra box and diff conversion shortly.

And your idea of that is ? Id say that an hour of running is plenty to get some oil through it.

That's an anti surge on the left is it not ?

The one we fitted was a gen garret so should be reliable ( alot of crap fakes on eBay )
I put it next to a ko4 and it just dwarfed it. Made the t34 we took of look tiny lol

Really? When my old man's sierra cossie got a new turbo he was under strict instructions to be gentle with it for the first 1000miles.

Mayb for a rebuilt in mapped engine. But as this was just a turbo change and remap Tis fine.

Ran it for half an hour , gave it a shake down on the toad, checked for leaks then started winding on some boost

yes, and a billet precision 62 comp wheel/cover
