Hi guys this may just be me or may just be my car but its done it ever since I bought it when you change gear the revs seem to take forever to fall is this normal ? My mates 20vt passat as soon as you touch the clutch it's back to idle ? I've changed clutch switch this is working spot on now ( have my own vagcom ) maf seems to be working fine . I haven't got a boost leak as I've pressure tested the system ? :( :( :(

So basically the revs just seam to take ages to fall between gear changes kinda makes you sound like you can't drive sometimes

Help ! Thanks in advance :) Scott

Ok guys ill give that a go and ill let you no how I get on :)

Iv got this problem too removed tb and cleaned it a couple of weeks ago but only got my cable the other day...gonna reset it in a bit and ill let you know how it goes!

How easy is the TB to get to anyone? Mine does the same on the revs mate. Pulls just fine, but seems to be a slight delay when coming off the loud pedal for the needle to drop.

Ok so I removed and cleaned tb and did r reset via vagcom and still the same ? I've read somwhere on the net that mabie my thermostat may be stuck open slightly causing the slow falling revs ? Any other ideas ? Cheers guys
