its no harder at all to do the drivers side mate, atleast i didnt find so..... the wheels realy suit the car the pic is bad quality the center of the wheels are almost the same colour of the car this is a worsde pic ug shows the ride height a tad better.
just been out for a spin and it rubs slightly on the inner arch where it sticks out on the outside edge near one of the fixing bolts anyone else had problems with this? i dont want to take the inner arch out and its not rely that low.....
also now i have lowered the car it knocks when steering on hard lock..... might have a look i did notice now the drop links are shorter there is a bit oflastic that might catch hope its as simple at just trimming it back....
wil have a look now and see, also with it rubbing i am going to get a heat gun on the plastick lug that sticks out and try bend it inwards slightly hope this works lol...
hi yeah the coilovers are great! love them! yeah there was a slight bit of subbing but thets due to the offset of my wheels i guess, handles so much better now, next mod has to be a whiteline rear arb.
gthe fitting was dead easy to do the back the front was a bit more complicated but i managed fine! han no special tools to do this with neither so it is possible even if you do the back yourself and save a few £ and get a garage to do the front
not for me but im sure alot of people on here could do it, but i would be too paranoid and i don't even have a trolly jack or anything and im a girl! he he!
hmmmm yeah suppose i was a lil worried that i did it right but once ytao gat cracking its a doddle well ish but i would definatley reccomend the fk's as i realy rate them!
I will get FKs after seein some of the cars on here with them, bit pricey though. Wouldnt have a clue which FKs to get though for my car but will investigate when the time comes, not happening for some time yet.
The FK Coilover Kits do look quite reasonable (compared to other kits on the market).
Looking at a good £450 for the FK's. For comparison Eibach Kit is £650 notes!!
.....add on to that the price of your chosen garage installing the kit on your car (for those not anticipating fitting the Kit themselves) - say an extra £100 at least.
Will create quite a hole in your wallet but I suppose the look of a decently SLAMMED Ibiza over one on standard springs/shocks = no comparison.
agree that why it wont be happening for a long time yet as I'm not rich, makes doin the car more fun as i have to wait and do things gradually, i will be sorting wheels and spacers first.
