timing a tdi

Does anyone know how I check whether my timing is correct on my Ibiza 2001 1.9 tdi (110).
My crankshaft timing marks are spot on, the no 1 cams are pointing up and I can insert the locking tool into the pump,
What else do I need to check or is the timing right at this point?

If you are still not sure then there are some good guides on tdiclub website. Sounds like it is correct tho.
