Hi everyone,

I bought a new Terramar in mid-March, its a mild-hybrid and it came equipped with summer tires.
However, I just realized that on the infotainment system is still set to "winter" tires.
I only noticed this while checking the tire pressure, and now I can't find any way to change the setting from winter to summer in the infotainment menu.

The car was delivered like this, and when I contacted online support via email, they advised me to bring it in for service.
Before doing that, I wanted to check if anyone here has experienced something similar or knows how to update the tire configuration manually.

The photo I’ve included shows the infotainment screen (it's in Italian, but it should still be clear enough).
Basically, when I tap on the "Winter Tyres" text, nothing happens — the system doesn’t respond or open any submenu.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

There is no winter/summer tire mode setting.

It's just a heading you tried to click.
Just under that, there is a setting for enabling the speed warning in winter.

And when you enabled that, another option below for warning threshold becomes active.

The car must be sensing from the outside temperature that it's winter and warns you if above options are enabled and speed condition is met.

Thank you, that makes sense. Honestly, with my previous Formentor, it was very different.

I have to admit, I’m really missing my 2021 Formentor. I’m afraid the new infotainment system isn’t as good as the previous one… After a month and a half, I’m still not happy with the change having a Terramar.

hi @Slobodan, thanks to have answered, yes I am actually unhappy, by the way I wil share my thoughts:

After a few weeks of driving my new Terramar, I’d like to share a first assessment compared to my previous Formentor, which I had a very positive experience with from the start.

Road handling: As expected from a vehicle with a higher ride height, the Terramar offers less precise handling in fast corners or direction changes. The Formentor was truly outstanding in this area—sharp, stable, and incredibly confidence-inspiring with a sporty edge to its driving dynamics.

Acceleration and responsiveness: The Terramar also feels less lively in terms of pickup and throttle response. It’s less quick off the line and has slower acceleration, though this is understandable considering its greater weight.

Rear seat space: Surprisingly, rear-seat legroom was more generous in the Formentor. In the Terramar, passengers in the back feel noticeably more cramped. Most likely, interior space has been redistributed to allow for a much larger boot, which is indeed quite spacious.

Suspension: This is one area where the Terramar clearly wins. The suspension feels more solid and refined—road imperfections and potholes are absorbed much better, resulting in a significantly more comfortable ride.

Infotainment and digital cockpit: This is perhaps the most disappointing aspect. The infotainment system in the Terramar is a step back compared to the one in the 2021 Formentor. It lacks intuitiveness, responsiveness, and overall quality. The digital cockpit in the Formentor was also more attractive, versatile, and easier to read.

Exterior design: On the bright side, the Terramar is a beautiful car. I get a lot of compliments on its looks—it definitely has a strong visual impact.

That said, the initial feeling I had with the Terramar just doesn’t compare to the instant connection I felt with the Formentor. So far, the overall experience is noticeably less engaging.
