tire size

Hi there,

I'm new to this site so hello.

Just a quick question.

I picked up my Leon Cupra yesterday. On my previous car I had RS4 replicars on 205/40/17 tires. now my local wheel shop said that if i was to put these on the LC i would have to chage the tires to 215/45/17. just wondering have true this was or was he just trying to make a sale????? advise

From memory the correct size tyres for 17" wheels on the Leon Cupra is 225/45/17 to keep the rolling radius and so the gearing/speedo correct.

Confirmed, Std tyre size for LC 17inch wheels are indeed 225/45/17
