iam getting my ko3s fitted next friday do i need change my 3 bar fuel pressure regulator to a 4bar one also jabbasport mapped the car from the start via a actual plug in chip not obd flashing so does that mean when i need it remapping for the ko3s it has to back to jabba sport
any help with these issues would be great

yeh you really need a 4bar fpr with k03s. I imagine any reputable tuning company would be willint to take on the work, unsoldering the chip and then flashing their code over it so it doesnt really matter, either way you looking at £400+ for decent mapping.

can jabba sport adjust the map they fitted its been adjusted before so ive been told i would like to keep the jabba software if possible

its not possible with their generic map im afraid. They offer two services - one is a generic stage 1 style map (like you have) and is just upoladed to the car, the other is a rolling road map, which specifically takes in your modifications (k03s etc) and unlike revo you cant pay a surcharge to upgrade, whole new map unfortunately with jabba - and its £475 for the custom map

photek who owned the car before had it mapped then a year later he took it back and they adjusted it to suit the new fmic and other mods i have recipets for the work

that is pretty minor stuff though, a new turbo requires different fueling etc. Im just passing on info i was told by jabba when i asked to have the same sort of thing done - mapped on k03, then to have it tweaked for k03s later - they said it wasnt possible if you had their generic map.

i asked the 4bar question last week mate and general consensous was to get one but that it's not 100% necessary.

i had my k03s fitted and mapped a couple of days ago and they mapped it to 3bar first then tried the 4bar and it apparently it felt much smoother with the 4bar.

from what i've been told you'll be ok to drive it with your current remap...just take it easy.

I was talking to mike about your car yesterday

You dont need a 4 bar. You only need one if your map requires it.

I wouldnt change it if your mapped has been done to suit a 3 bar.
